Warm Honey Dijon Potato Salad

I was finally recovering from a long bout of flu and was in the mood to cook.  My P.S. was more in the  mood to grill.  He wanted hot dogs.  I love hot dogs so I was in.  I also could finally make the warm potato salad recipe I’d been eyeing for awhile.  It had honey and Dijon and red onion and green onion and sounded like it would be an outstanding mouthful of flavor.  Dinner time! Garlic Dijon Sausage and Cabbage Sheet Pan Dinner

I’d been toying with the idea of a sheet pan meal with sausage, cabbage and potatoes with a garlic Dijon sauce for awhile.  Having leftover cabbage from St Pat’s Day and buying fresh green beans at the grocery store was a bonus.  They all sounded like they could jump into the pan together and be friends.  The sauce would be the zingy bonus that tied them all together. Simple White Bean Soup

My Dad loves to make soup with ham shank and beans.  I also like to make bean soup but I don’t use the same spices.  In fact I used very few for this soup and it was delicious.  I only used a little garlic powder, salt and pepper and the ham flavor came through  very well.  The vegetables add a nice layer of flavor of course but this is ham and bean soup at its simplest.
