How many ways can you stir fry zucchini and summer squash?  Your creativity is the only limit.  I don’t normally have teriyaki sauce on hand, and when I do use teriyaki sauce in cooking I usually make my own.  I have all of the ingredients on hand, I just don’t always want to make the effort to make my own.  Enter: a bottle of teriyaki sauce from the grocery store.  For those times you want to be lazy but still flavorful. I previously posted on my efforts to use up the fresh vegetables leftover from a graduation party my sister Linda hosted for their son, Jesse.  I’d cut up about 4000 vegetables and there were so many leftover she sent a gallon zippered bag home with me.  We ate them for several days but eventually had to cry “uncle”.  I discarded the cucumber slices and snow peas because they were no longer fresh. Creamy Chicken Vegetable Soup

I had leftover rotisserie chicken the other day and I wanted soup.  Something creamy and full of vegetables would be nice.  I see so many kinds of soups in cans in the grocery stores and I’m jealous.  I can’t eat those because of the msg in them so I try to be creative and make my own versions of those soups.  I like a creamy, thick soup that’s more of a chowder, really.  Another soup posting for soup week!
