I’m finally getting the last Christmas recipe posted from 2018. Although it’s not really a recipe, it was a cute idea that worked well. I like to do a sort of artwork crudité each year and this year was simply cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and black olives. I could have served it with a balsamic drizzle but my family isn’t big on balsamic. I took the safe route and went natural. It was pretty, tasty and loved. Continue reading

Imitation Crab Dip {Christmas Traditions}
My Mom found a recipe years ago and made it each year for our Christmas Eve buffet. We’d open our gifts then take a break and enjoy a wide array of finger foods and of course sweets. My Mom was and still is an excellent cook. Her holidays and parties are legendary. When I had my own family, I had to call home for recipes. Juicy Lucy Meatballs
I normally make Swedish meatballs around the winter holidays but we’d just had a big meatball feed. While my daughter, son, cousin and I made our yearly lefse, I had a crockpot of meatballs and another crockpot of mashed potatoes going for our dinner break.
