I picked up frozen precooked shrimp a couple of months ago and am finally getting around to trying some recipes. The first was fairly simple, it was the combination of ingredients that interested me. We are true fans of the grilled burger. We’d never grill anything else if I had my way. But my P.S. (Performs Searing on a grill/ hubby) also likes grilled chicken, steaks, pork chops and the occasional hot dog or bratwurst.
We were having grilled burgers the other night and wanted to change up the flavors. My P.S. wanted to marinate the burgers in a teriyaki sauce. I suggested we grill some fresh pineapple and I’d mash an avocado for another garnish. These would be Burgers of Flavor! Continue reading
I ran a search and was amazed at how many recipes for avocado salad dressing or vinaigrette contain cilantro. I avoid cilantro in anything but I wanted a good avocado dressing for our dinner salads. Good grief, there are so many seasonings you could add to a dressing, why automatically reach for the cilantro? Not that I have any in my fridge anyway!
