Cranberry sauce is one of those foods that you come to love once you make your own. I’ve made it every year for quite awhile now and this year was a real hit. Wild Rice Grain Bowl with Chicken
After having a wild rice bowl at a local restaurant I told my P.S. they’d be easy to make at home. I wouldn’t have any problem chopping and layering a great grain bowl. P.S. (Patient Spouse) was interested in the idea since he hadn’t ordered the bowl. He’s more of a rice blend person than I am and was looking longingly at my meal. Pineapple Cranberry Cole Slaw {Made in Minnesota}
I often say I make the BEST cole slaw. And I believe I do, having spent a few years working on my master recipe that I think is a good copycat version of KFC’s cole slaw. But this year, I was stunned when I tried a new version that rivals my own. With pineapple! I’d never have thought to add pineapple to cole slaw. I think of cole slaw as a vegetable salad, not a fruit salad. But it does work.
