A fellow blogger recently was talking about reposting recipes that were popular.  It made me think of a few recipes I’ve posted that consistently rank at the top of my stats lists.  My parmesan crusted walleye is always in my top 10 on WordPress and  on Pinterest.  It wasn’t a hit when I originally posted the recipe in November of 2014.  But over the past 4 years it’s become popular  It’s worth revisiting!

I like when fish and seafood are much lower priced during Lent.  I stock up and we eat it more often.  Cod is one of my favorites, possibly due to my Norwegian heritage.  It’s a fishy tasting fish but I’ve found ways to work around that.    I loved the butter basted cod that I posted a few years ago.  I’ve made cod with a caper sauce before but this recipe was slightly different.  It was a hit with us! My parmesan crusted walleye post gets so many hits it’s up there in my top 5 posts.  We prefer that recipe over any of my other ones for walleye but this recipe using Ritz crackers caught my eye.  I love Ritz, and happen to have several boxes in the pantry that didn’t get used at Christmas time.  It’s a matter of use them or toss them soon.  I’d rather use them and see how this turns out!
