Pecan pie is probably my favorite pie. Which probably seems odd because I don’t like nuts in most anything else. I like them straight up, out of hand but not when cooked or baked. Creamy Pumpkin Pie

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve dug out the step stool, climbed up to the top shelf of my baking cupboard to look for a can (because who stores the rarely used cans within reach!) and came up empty handed. Sugar Cookie Cup Cherry Pies

I’ve been wanting to make cookie cups out of sugar cookie dough for a few years and this year was time to make them!  I bought a roll of sugar cookie dough and set to work.  First mistake: I bought a 30 oz roll of dough instead of the 16.5 oz roll the recipe required.  Oops!  I noticed early enough so I redid the first few balls and continued from there.  I would see this through!
