Grilled Teriyaki Burgers
We are true fans of the grilled burger. We’d never grill anything else if I had my way. But my P.S. (Performs Searing on a grill/ hubby) also likes grilled chicken, steaks, pork chops and the occasional hot dog or bratwurst.
We were having grilled burgers the other night and wanted to change up the flavors. My P.S. wanted to marinate the burgers in a teriyaki sauce. I suggested we grill some fresh pineapple and I’d mash an avocado for another garnish. These would be Burgers of Flavor! Continue reading
Aloha Ham Spread
Leftover ham is always welcome in my castle. It’s so versatile in both hot and cold dishes that it isn’t leftover for long. It simply depends on my mood at the time. This day I envisioned the ham in a spread on a Kaiser bun for lunch. I’d just cut up a fresh pineapple and it was a nice sweet and tart one. Ham and Vegetable Fried Rice
We often eat fried rice here at the castle. When I make rice for dinner I purposely make extra so I can make fried rice the next evening. Once I learned to always start out with cold rice, making fried rice was a cinch. But making it interesting, with new ingredients, prevents boredom. This time I wanted more vegetables.
